October has been about Emblems; symbols and tokens telling stories of personal rituals through my paintings and jewellery.
I showed a collection of works about emblems in a group show with Eryn Lougheed and Lily Snowden-Fine at Lant Street, Bermondsey. There were two particular pieces that I loved including in the show. The first was this tiny miniature Sleeping Rock, painted in watercolour, set behind a crystal in a gold pendant and just slightly too small to see in a photo.
The second was the dark and autumnal palette of my painting I’ll Cook you a Pie on the Harvest Moon. Built up of many, many layers of thin glossy paint.

It was such a pleasure to have so many lovely faces at the candlelit preview on - it was such a joy to share the collection and have so many wonderful conversations about the paintings.
